=Poem/ story for 9/27/2024
I actually wrote this poem/ story quite a while ago while still living up-country on the
Big Island:
I took a walk this morning and asked the one of the bird neighbors what the temperature was.
He said it was tweet-or-two degrees out. He said again to make sure I heard.
The neighbor cow said it was moo-moo two outside, but moo-moo-moo-moo four in the barn
The rooster said it was cock-a-twodle-doo.
The morning dove noted that it was doo-doo-doo-two-two-two-doo-doo-two-two
And the Owl simply said it is who-who-two-who
And the Cuckoo agreed whole heartily saying his thermometer read Cuck-two, Cuck-two.
